This and Mario Kart 64 are my 2 favorite Mario Kart games. I do agree with most of the things you said in the bad section, though. It can sometimes be ridiculous when you think you’re about to win the race, then that blue shell alarm starts going off. Still, it’s a good game.

omg i hate the blue shells
one time i was racing on 150cc and i was about to come in first and all the racers are gathered up in a group behind me
i was dodging all the attacks until one of them threw a blue shell right b4 the finish line and everyone else sped right past me making me come in 8th

That happens to me all the time, the amount of items in MKwii was a little to much if you ask me, otherwise an amazing game it’s my second fav in the series after MKDS.

Hmm, nice review. I was wondering though, I never really got into Mario Kart (I played it at my friends house all the time, but I never bought it), and I was wondering, in your opinion, between MK:64, MK:DD, and MK Wii (The only ones I have systems for), which should I get?

I liked this entire review except for the part where you spoke about the bad aspects. When you said that you get crappy items in like 2nd and 1st place and nothing to defend yourself, what do you want Nintendo to do? Give you Bullet Bills and Queen Mushrooms in 1st? You get those when your in last or close to last so you could make a comeback. And you do get items to defend yourselves in 1st place, if you hold on to the bananas and shells, it’ll block any green or red shells that’s coming. 5/5.

I agree with you but it would be nice if you can get more items even if you are 1st you should get a mushroom.

You can get muchrooms in first but it’s very rare. I once got a mushroom in first. And they can’t give you too much mushrooms in first because it’ll be more easier to dodge blue shells.

I was online about 6 months ago and this one guy knew a code or something so he he got unlimited bombs and stars and super mushrooms! Of course that happened once. I also have experienced a little lag. I saw someone fall off and already be in front of me driving along. I still love the online game play. it deserves a 9/10. Buy this game. You’ll be saying IT’S OVER 9000!!! (If you haven’t seen that vid u should check it. Especially if you like dragon ball z)
