There is nothing worse than a Wii console freezing, particularly when it is new.  I know - Lucky for me it wasn't mine, but a friend bought her children a Wii console for Christmas.

You can imagine their excitement - They finally had a Nintendo Wii system to call their own.  The excitement faded very quickly when the system would not boot properly and the console constantly froze.  No game playing that day for her kids.

Fortunately for them I rode in to rescue the day.  I lent them my Wii and took theirs to see if I could fix it.  Keep in mind that trying to get Nintendo assistance on Christmas Day was a bust.

I couldn't get the system working either and in desperation (cause I wanted to get my console back so I could game over the holidays) I turned to the internet.

After searching through a pile of useless information, I came across the Wii Repair Guide.

So if you are having problems, any problems with your Wii, you can fix them yourself without having to wait hours on the phone or having to send the console out for repair - I know from friends that this can take up to 8 weeks for it to be returned.
