Lego Batman
Batman is back
and he needs to break stuff!! And he hasn’t come
alone.
Along for the ride
are his faithful side kick Robin, and his three most evil
tormentors, the Riddler, the Joker and the Penguin, all
aided by their crews of misfits.

He’s also brought his
get around toys with him – As you play through the
levels, you’ll be chasing the Riddler with the Batmobile,
the Joker with the Batwing and hunting down the Penguin
in the Batboat.
Once through
the initial hero levels, you can then play the game in
one of the villains roles – from there you can switch
easily from hero to villain and back again giving you a
view of both sides of the action.
Your primary goal is
to break as much as you can, smashing everything in your
path and using the trembling blocks to build items that help
you to move through the game.
If you can break it, you
can remake it.
Your eventual goal is
the attainment of elusive LEGO
Canister.
In each level there
are 10 items to be collected – LEGO canisters and a red
power brick.
Once you have collected
all ten you can build a mini model that gets displayed in
the Hero trophy room.
You get 50,000 studs for
making the mini model and the red power brick assist in suit
upgrades.
Each of the heros has
their own suits, and using the suit changers, you can change
from one suit to another.
The suit upgrades allows you
to add cool items to your suit giving greater powers, and
giving you more fun in the process.
Collecting the studs
allows you greater suit upgrades, as well as letting
purchase the unlock codes to new
levels.
Every time you beat a
level, you get the opportunity under the free play mode
to return to that level.
In free mode, you get
to bring who ever you need into that level including
villains to work through that level unlocking
more.

The game is extensive
incorporating a number of levels and abilities such as mind
control and Sonic Suits.
If you get stuck, don’t
forget that you are not alone, Robin can assist, and in a
number of scenes, you will need his help to get through the
level.
Totaling 30 levels in all,
Hero and Villains combined plus the freeplay levels, LEGO
Batman should keep you amused for hours at a
time.
